Terms of service
As of: October 25, 2026
1. Scope and Purpose
1.1 The Yeahbase platform is operated by Actilize UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Am Isarkanal 24, 81379 Munich, registered at Munich District Court under HRB 199923, represented by Managing Director Florian Mayer, VAT ID: DE284269996.
1.2 These terms of use apply to all persons who use Yeahbase – regardless of whether they register or not.
1.3 Yeahbase serves the purpose of connecting employers and job seekers as well as enabling feedback processes in a professional context.
1.4 The platform is continuously developed. Yeahbase may add, change or discontinue features at any time. For paid services, the core services promised at the time of booking remain in place for the booked term.
2. Definitions
Platform: The website and all associated digital services of Yeahbase.
Users: All natural or legal persons who use Yeahbase in any form.
Employers: Companies or organizations that publish job postings or contact job seekers via the platform, for example through the candidate search or AI matching.
Job Seekers: Persons who create a profile on Yeahbase, apply for positions, or are visible.
Feedback Providers: Persons or companies who provide feedback on individual users – even without their own account.
Content: All texts, images, reviews, videos, or other data published by users.
3. General Rules for All Users
3.1 Use is permitted from age 16.
3.2 All information must be truthful. Insults, discrimination, or commercial advertising outside of job postings are prohibited.
3.3 Content may only be uploaded if the rights to do so exist.
3.4 The platform may not be misused or used in an automated manner.
3.5 Yeahbase is not liable for content or agreements made outside the platform (e.g., via email, phone, or social networks).
3.6 Review of users, profiles and job postings: To protect all users from fraud, identity misuse, dubious offers and other violations of these Terms of Use, Yeahbase may at any time check whether persons and companies really are who they claim to be and whether profiles, job postings and user accounts comply with the Terms of Use. This review does not require a specific suspicion or a report; it takes place in particular upon registration, before or after a profile or job posting is published, on a random basis, in case of irregularities (for example relating to payments, multiple accounts or unusual usage patterns) and upon reports from other users. For this purpose, Yeahbase may use the details in your account, your communication with us and publicly accessible sources, for example the company website and its imprint, the commercial register, the register of associations and the company register, review portals, professional networks and search engines. Upon request, you are obliged to provide suitable evidence within a reasonable period, such as an extract from the commercial register, a business registration or proof of your identity. In doing so, Yeahbase does not assess the professional suitability of job seekers and does not take decisions on protective measures (clause 9) solely by automated means. Which data we process, how long we store it and what rights you have is explained in section 7 of the privacy policy.
4. Special Provisions for Employers
4.1 Employers can publish paid or free job postings, use the candidate search to find suitable profiles and contact job seekers via the platform, in particular with interview requests in AI matching.
4.2 The candidate search can be used free of charge. Interview requests are included to a certain extent depending on the job ad package booked; where no quota is included, requests are paid for with credits. The applicable quotas and prices are displayed on the platform.
4.3 Mandatory information in job postings
Employers are required to fill out job postings completely and truthfully.
4.3.1 Mandatory information includes in particular: a meaningful job title and description including the main responsibilities, the name of the company or posting organization, a meaningful website (clause 4.3.2), the type of employment (e.g., permanent employment or freelance, full-time or part-time), information about the workplace or remote options, and the application channel.
4.3.2 A website is meaningful if it is reachable and describes what the company or organization does, whom its offering is aimed at and which products or services it offers. It contains a complete imprint and a privacy policy. The company or organization named in the imprint must be the one that publishes the job posting. Placeholder or under-construction pages, mere redirects, social media profiles and entries in business directories are not sufficient.
4.3.3 Yeahbase reserves the right not to publish incomplete or misleading job postings or to deactivate existing postings.
4.4 The following actions and content are not permitted on Yeahbase:
4.4.1 Untruthfulness: All information about the company and position must be truthful.
4.4.2 Dubious or fraudulent business models: The platform may not be used for ethically or legally questionable business models.
4.4.3 Paid acquisition of leads: Companies may not request payments from applicants for leads or contact information.
4.4.4 Paid training as a prerequisite for employment: Offers that include paid training as a prerequisite for employment are prohibited.
4.4.5 Any form of financial advance payments: No payments to companies or third parties may be required as access prerequisites.
4.4.6 Unpaid job offers: The advertised activity must be appropriately compensated. Free work is prohibited.
4.4.7 Network Marketing (MLM): Offers to recruit team members in the context of MLM are not allowed.
4.4.8 Product advertising and sales: The platform may not be used to advertise or sell products, services, or coaching – regardless of content relevance.
4.5 Employers are required to treat personal data of applicants confidentially and use it only for the purpose of examining a possible collaboration.
4.6 Reference listing and case studies: Yeahbase may show the name and logo of employers who have published job postings on the platform as a reference, in particular in the logo bar on the homepage and on the pages for employers. Yeahbase may also present such a job posting as a case study, with the employer's name and logo as well as figures on its reach and results (such as impressions in search engines, views or applications) and the period they cover. Both apply on the platform and in advertising for Yeahbase, for example in online ads, social media, newsletters and presentations, including after the job posting has ended. For this purpose, the logo is usually adapted to the respective design, for example in a single color. Employers may object to the listing and to the case study at any time and without giving reasons, for example by email to [email protected]. Yeahbase will then remove the information concerned from the platform and from running advertising without undue delay, and at the latest within seven days, and will not use it afterwards; materials already sent or handed over, such as newsletters already sent, are not affected. There is no entitlement to be listed or featured in a case study.
5. Special Provisions for Job Seekers
5.1 Job seekers can create a profile, apply, request feedback and use paid services, such as profile subscriptions or having applications sent by the Apply Agent.
5.2 Upon cancellation or deletion of the profile, personal content will be deleted. Purchase data remains for legal documentation requirements.
5.3 Job seekers may contact companies and make themselves publicly visible if they have created a profile.
5.4 Job seekers are responsible for the correctness and completeness of the information they provide (e.g., profile, resume, qualifications).
5.5 The platform may only be used for professional purposes. Use for private, political, or advertising purposes is prohibited.
5.6 Third-party feedback remains even if the user account is deleted, as it is stored independently.
5.7 If a profile is written in English, Yeahbase shows it on the German version of the platform in an automatic translation into German, so that employers who use the platform in German can read it too. The original remains unchanged and appears on the English version. Details are in the privacy policy.
6. Special Provisions for Feedback Providers
6.1 Feedback providers can give reviews about individual users, even without their own account.
6.2 Feedback may only be given by real, identifiable persons. Required information includes name, email address, and company details.
6.3 Feedback must be factual and truthful. Yeahbase reserves the right to review content in case of suspected abuse or inappropriateness and remove it if necessary.
6.4 Feedback with obviously false information or without comprehensible relation to the employment relationship may not be published or may be removed without notice.
6.5 There is no right to response or discussion of feedback within the platform. However, users can contact support.
6.6 Feedback is permanently visible unless legitimate interests oppose it or a justified deletion request exists.
6.7 Feedback providers acknowledge these terms of use by submitting feedback.
7. Paid Services, Withdrawal and Refunds
7.1 Yeahbase offers paid services for various user groups – including job ad packages and supplementary services for job ads, credits, profile subscriptions and applications via the Apply Agent.
7.2 Once a paid service has been booked or purchased, payment is binding. Any refund beyond that – for example in case of non-use or early cancellation – is excluded. Your statutory rights remain unaffected, in particular the right of withdrawal under clause 7.7 and your statutory rights in case of defects.
7.3 Users who are unsure whether a paid service fits their needs can contact support in advance.
7.4 For voluntary refunds that are not owed by law, refunds of payments made via SEPA direct debit are issued at the earliest after the SEPA refund period of eight weeks from the debit date has expired, in order to avoid double refunds. Statutory refund claims – in particular following the exercise of the right of withdrawal (clause 7.7) or due to defects – remain unaffected and are settled within the applicable statutory periods.
7.5 In case of payment disputes or chargebacks, Yeahbase reserves the right to re-invoice the amount and charge an additional flat processing fee of €10 (plus VAT for businesses, including VAT for consumers). You remain entitled to prove that no damage or substantially less damage was incurred.
7.6 Subscription cancellation: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via the user account – without notice period. To prevent a subscription from renewing automatically, the cancellation must reach us before the beginning of the next billing period. A cancellation in text form, for example by email to [email protected], is equally effective. After a cancellation, the subscription continues until the end of the period already paid for; amounts already paid for current periods will not be refunded proportionally. Clause 7.7 remains unaffected.
7.7 Right of withdrawal: Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of fourteen days. You will find the details and the model withdrawal form in our withdrawal policy. You can also declare your withdrawal during the withdrawal period via our online withdrawal function at yeahbase.com/widerruf; you will then receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email without undue delay.
8. Credits (credit balance)
8.1 In the event of premature termination of booked services, Yeahbase may, at its own discretion, grant a pro-rata credit balance in the form of credits.
8.2 Credits can only be used for future purchases on Yeahbase. They are automatically deducted from the purchase price. It is not possible to offset them against existing invoices or contracts.
8.3 Credits are non-transferable, non-cashable and not an official means of payment. They are only valid within Yeahbase.
8.4 Yeahbase reserves the right to assign a validity period to credits. After this period has expired, unused credits shall expire without replacement.
9. Protective Measures and Violations of the Terms of Use
9.1 Provisional protective measures: Yeahbase may at any time and without prior notice provisionally deactivate or block content, job postings, profiles or entire user accounts if there are factual indications of a violation of these Terms of Use, of illegal content, of fraud or identity misuse or of a risk to other users, or for as long as a review under clause 3.6 is ongoing and requested evidence is outstanding. A proven violation is not required for this; the measure serves to protect users until the review is completed.
9.2 Notification and response: Yeahbase notifies you of a measure under clause 9.1 by email to the address stored in your account and states the reason as specifically as is reasonably possible under the circumstances; Yeahbase may withhold details insofar as they would jeopardize an ongoing review, security measures or the rights of third parties. You can respond at any time, for example by email to [email protected], and submit further evidence. Yeahbase then reviews the measure again and lifts or confirms it. For deceptive high-volume commercial content (such as spam), the notification may be omitted.
9.3 Final measures: If a violation is confirmed or requested evidence is not provided within the period set, Yeahbase may permanently remove the affected content, job postings or profiles, end free or paid services (e.g. job postings, interview requests, profiles) and permanently block or terminate the user account. If you are responsible for the violation, there is no entitlement to a refund of amounts already paid for the service period lost as a result; if you are not responsible for it, clause 8.5 of the General Terms and Conditions applies to paid services. Your statutory claims remain unaffected.
9.4 Termination of free use: In addition, Yeahbase may terminate free user accounts, profiles and job postings at any time without stating reasons with a notice period of 14 days in text form. The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected. The General Terms and Conditions apply to paid services.
9.5 Abusive conduct in connection with payments – in particular repeated unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes despite services rendered as agreed, as well as the deliberate exploitation of withdrawal or refund mechanisms with intent to cause harm or to gain an unfair advantage – constitutes a violation of these Terms of Use and may lead to blocking of the user account in accordance with clauses 9.1 to 9.3. The lawful exercise of your statutory right of withdrawal under clause 7.7 and of statutory payment rights – such as a timely SEPA direct debit return – is expressly not considered abuse and carries no disadvantage for you.
9.6 Creating additional user accounts may be prohibited in case of suspected or confirmed abuse.
9.7 In case of serious or repeated violations, we reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings.
9.8 We strive to formulate all rules clearly and unambiguously. In case of uncertainties or doubts before publishing an offer, we recommend contacting us in advance – via chat or email at [email protected].
9.9 If a provisional measure proves to be unfounded after a renewed review (clause 9.2), Yeahbase lifts it. Otherwise, deactivated profiles, job postings or user accounts may be reactivated upon request at the discretion of Yeahbase; there is no entitlement to this.
9.10 Deception in team feedback: Companies can ask their team on Yeahbase for anonymous feedback (team feedback). The responses can earn a seal “Recommended by the team”, which Yeahbase shows on the company’s job postings, on its company page and – if the company embeds the code – on the company’s own website. Only people who actually work for the company may give feedback; the company’s admins give none. Every admin confirms before their first invitation to the team that they invite only such people. The seal cannot be bought and influences neither matching nor the order of search results. Yeahbase reviews teams and responses under clause 3.6 with visible and invisible methods, may release a company’s first seal by hand before it is published, and may request evidence of the working relationship from team members and from the company, such as the first page of an employment or commercial agent contract with amounts redacted; Yeahbase does not request payslips. If an irregularity shows – for example a team member who does not provide requested evidence – Yeahbase may withdraw the seal and suspend the company’s responses to date for seal and results; the company then starts again from zero, and genuine team members may give feedback again at once. If a company or an admin deceives Yeahbase or other users in team feedback – in particular through invented team members, multiple accounts or coordinated responses – this is a serious violation of these terms of use: Yeahbase permanently locks the company and permanently excludes the admins involved from using Yeahbase as employers (no job postings, no administration of a company); their use as job seekers remains unaffected. Clauses 9.1 to 9.3 apply accordingly, in particular notification and response under clause 9.2 and, for amounts already paid, clause 9.3.
10. External Services
Yeahbase uses the following third-party providers to deliver its services: Stripe, PayPal, Mailerlite, Mailersend, Zapier, Cloudflare, CaptchaFox, Linevast, Hetzner, NovaLaravel, Laravel, React, Midjourney, Sipgate Softphone, seven.io, Tidio, Anthropic, OpenAI.
11. Changes to Service Offering
Yeahbase reserves the right to change, expand, or discontinue technical functions or content of the platform at any time. This does not create any claims for compensation or continued use of specific features. Services already paid for are provided for the term booked; clause 7 and the General Terms and Conditions remain unaffected.
12. Liability
12.1 Yeahbase is not liable for user content, particularly not for the accuracy of reviews, profile information, or job postings.
12.2 Yeahbase does not guarantee constant availability of the platform.
12.3 Yeahbase is not an employment agency in the legal sense and does not become a contracting party between employer and applicant.
12.4 For damages caused by slight negligence, Yeahbase is only liable for violations of essential contractual obligations.
13. Changes to Terms of Use
13.1 Yeahbase may change these Terms of Use with effect for the future where there is a valid reason, in particular a change in the law or in case law, requirements of public authorities, new, changed or discontinued features of the platform, protecting users and the platform against misuse, or clarifying unclear provisions. Yeahbase does not use this procedure to change the core of the agreed services or the fees for services already booked; such changes only apply with your express consent.
13.2 Yeahbase informs registered users of changes separately, by a notice in their account on their next visit to the platform or by email. The notice names the material changes, refers to the new version and points out the objection period, the right to object and what it means if you do not object.
13.3 The amended Terms of Use apply to you unless you object to them within four weeks of receiving the notice. You can object informally, for example by email to [email protected]. Continuing to use the platform during this period does not yet mean you agree; if you have not objected by the end of the period, the changes count as accepted from then on.
13.4 If you object in time, Yeahbase closes your user account with 14 days’ notice in text form; until then, the previous Terms of Use continue to apply to you. Paid services already booked continue under the previous terms until the end of their term, and the user account remains open until then.
13.5 Anyone who registers after a new version has been published accepts that version when registering. Use of the platform without an account is governed by the version published at the time of use.
13.6 Yeahbase publishes purely editorial changes that do not affect your rights and obligations, such as corrections of typos or cross-references, without a separate notice.
14. Jurisdiction and Final Provisions
14.1 German law applies.
14.2 Jurisdiction is Munich, where legally permissible.
14.3 Should individual clauses be invalid, the remaining components of these terms of use remain unaffected.
15. Data Protection
Yeahbase processes personal data exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection laws. Further information can be found in the separate Privacy Policy.
16. Language
In case of discrepancies between different language versions of these terms of use, the German version is authoritative.
17. Fairness
Yeahbase is a platform based on transparency, respect, and fair interaction. We ask all users to behave in the spirit of this basic attitude – even beyond these terms of use.
